Suitable foods and birds

Add a shallow layer of clean, dry wild bird seed, black-oil sunflower seed, sunflower hearts or a suitable no-mess blend. The open platform can welcome finches, chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, sparrows, cardinals and other tray-feeding backyard birds.

Installation & use

Hang the feeder from a secure outdoor support with an open flight path around the tray. Make sure the S-hook is fully seated before adding food. Spread a shallow layer of dry seed across the tray, check it after rain, and discard any seed that becomes wet, clumped or contaminated.

Care & cleaning

Empty old seed and loose hulls regularly. Wash the tray, clear dome and center support with warm water and mild dish soap, rinse thoroughly, and allow every surface to dry completely before refilling.
