Installation & use

Hang the feeder from a secure branch hook, shepherd's hook or feeder station with an open flight path around the platform. Seat the hanging cable or chain fully before adding food. Press one fresh orange half onto each fruit peg with the cut side facing outward, then add a shallow amount of grape jelly to each cup. Place the feeder where afternoon shade can help slow food spoilage.

Care & cleaning

Fruit and jelly can spoil quickly, especially in warm weather. Replace them daily during hot conditions and whenever they look dried, watery, moldy or contaminated. Lift out both cups, wash them with warm water and mild dish soap, and rinse thoroughly. Wipe or rinse the platform, pegs and roof as needed, then allow all parts to dry before serving fresh food. Avoid filling the cups too deeply.
