Suitable birds

Assembly & installation

Assemble the wooden panels, stepped roof pieces, entrance guard, mesh insert and latch using the included fasteners. Mount the finished house upright from the extended rear board to a stable post, fence or wall using exterior hardware appropriate for the mounting surface. Choose an open approach path and keep the entrance clear of branches and dense obstructions. A mounting post or bracket is not included.

Care & cleaning

Do not open or disturb the box while an active nest is present. After the young have fledged and the box is no longer occupied, rotate the latch and lower the front panel. Remove old nesting material, brush away loose debris, wipe with warm water if needed, and allow the interior to dry completely before closing the door. Avoid harsh fragrances or chemical residues inside the nesting chamber.
